Shows the fire ceremony of the Walbiri tribe, Central Australia, which employs fire to inflict real and symbolic punishment on those responsible for a social transgression. Anthropologist, Nicholas Peterson, in his commentary explains the social divisions of the tribe and the role the ceremony plays in restoring order to the community.
