- Dutch and Bahasa Indonesian with English subtitles.Summary: Architecture, Dutch. This program looks at how Dutch architecture in Indonesia was adapted for the climate of the tropics. This is done by following the trip Dutch architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage made to Indonesia in 1923, and looking at the observations he made of the buildings he found there. The program contains excerpts from Berlage's diary, footage of the buildings when they were first built, and tours of the buildings as they are today with modern architects.
